Gazetted Entitlement Function is basically meant to serve as to entitlement and authorization of pay and allowances on the various events in the career of a Gazetted officer. The Gazetted Entitlement Group deals with Maintenance of the service records of Gazetted officers of State Government including All India Service Officers of Kerala Cadre, Ministers and Personal Staff , PSC Members, Judicial Officers, Gazetted Officers working under UGC/AICTE, Fixation of Pay, Issue of Pay Slips, Leave Salary Slips, Special Authorisataion, and Terminal surrender in respect of above said group of Officers and Maintenance of Leave Account and History of Service Processing of pension papers and providing details of liabilities to pension wing on retirement of gazetted officers

The Pension Group headed by an I.A. & A.S. Officer of the rank of Deputy Accountant General / Senior Deputy Accountant General deals with Verification and Authorization of Pension Claims of State Government employees, staff of Aided Schools/ Colleges, Local Bodies , Constitutional and Statutory Authorities such as High Court Judges, Chairman and Members of KPSC, Lok Ayukta and Upa Lok Ayukta, Members and Chairman appointed under the Kerala Public Men’s (Prevention of Corruption) Act, State Election Commission, State Information Commission, personal staff of Ministers/ Leader of Opposition/ Government Chief Whip/ Speaker etc., in Kerala whose pensionary charges are borne by State Government.
