Senior Deputy Accountant General (Accounts & VLC) 

Shri N. Dinakaran, IA&AS belongs to Indian Audit and Accounts Service, 2009 batch.  He has done B.Sc. in Physics from St. Josephs College, Tiruchirapalli.  He started his career in the Southern Railway Audit Office in the year 1986. In Southern Railway Audit, he has worked in the Audit of Workshop, Stores, Establishment, Traffic, Intensified Inspection Construction & Division. After induction to IA & AS cadre, he has served in the following sectors: South East Central Railway, Central Expenditure, Income tax and Scientific Depatment. He is also a Global Fellow of Goldman School of Public Policy, University of California, Berkeley, USA. He went for UN Audit of Food and Agriculture Organization to Sudan and Ethiopia in February 2023. Before joining this Office he was holding the charge of Sr.Deputy Accountant General (Administration), Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Tamilnadu, Chennai.
