Introduction

The office of the Accountant General (Audit)-II, Maharashtra, Nagpur has been entrusted with the work of auditing the various departments, commercial undertakings & Autonomous Bodies covered under the Administrative control of various departments of Government of Maharashtra.

As per the HQrs. Office’s Strategic Management Unit’s notification no. 88/17-SMU/2022 dated 20 February 2026 on reallocation of work between Office of the Principal Accountant General (Audit-I), Mumbai and Office of the Accountant General (Audit-II), Nagpur in the state of Maharashtra, the clusters allotted to this office are as follows :

            These clusters are further distributed among the Audit Management Group which are AMG-I, AMG-II, AMG-III, AMG- IV and AMG- V.
