General Welfare Activities:

  • Allotment of Govt. accommodation of Type VI (2 Duplex at Lekha Apartments and 4 Bungalows at AG Bungalows,Jublee Hills to IA&AS Officers, Type V (Lekha Apartments at Saifabad) and AG Staff quaraters at AG Colony, Yousufguda and their  maintenance  such as Electrical and Civil Repairs etc
  • Property tax to MCH in respect of  residential quarters of IA&AD located at Hyderabad.
  • Preparation of Budget Estimates and Revised Estimates in respect of Rent Rates & Taxes (RRT).
  • Preparation and submission of Preliminary Estimates regarding upgradation, maintenance, renovation of estates at Lekha apartments,AG Bungalows and  AG Colony
  • Preparation of priority list every year for A,B,C & D type Quarters .
  • Allotment of Govt. residential accommodations of A,B,C & D type Quarters as per entitlement
  • Intimation of Deduction of Standard Licence Fee (SLF) and Service Charge (SC) recovery related to A,B,C & D  type quarters to Bills Section.
  • Vacations of  Govt. residential  quarters  and Stoppage of SLF and SC under intimation to Bills Section.
  • 9.Reimbursement of Electricity Bills on  change of quarters in r/o A,B,C & D type quarters
  • Reconciliation standard license fee and service charges with respect of quarters Type A to D, Lekha Apartments  and Bungalows.
  • Surprise Security check at AG’s Colony, Saifabad.
  • Payment of electricity bills and water charges for common service.
  • Issue of No Objection Certificate in r/o A, B, C & D type quarters.
  • Allotments of shops at AG’s Staff quarters, Yousufguda
  • Authentication of the Identity of the Employees who book Holiday Homes maintained by CPWD in various towns/Cities across India.
  • Issue of Credit Letters to the Officials on Emergency admission in CGHS recognized hospitals.
  • Financial assistance to the families of the deceased employees in case of death- Such as outright payment of grant from Benevolent Fund.
  • Assisting the families of the deceased employees to apply for getting the terminal benefits and also to apply for compassionate appointment etc.
  • Conduct of Enquiry on Financial Status of the deceased employees for compassionate appointment and submit the report to Sr.AO/Admin.
  • Sending condolence messages to the deceased families, staff and to arrange condolence meetings.
  • Attending emergency situations like immediate hospitalization, funerals, etc.
  • Temporary allotment of Lekha Kalyan and vacant quarters for Household functions.
  • Solving the complaints/grievances brought to the notice of the Welfare Section.
