Dr. Sanjay Rao Kamineni, IA&AS

Dr. Sanjay Rao Kamineni, a 2016-batch Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer, currently serves as Senior Deputy Accountant General (AMG-II), Telangana. He cleared the Civil Services Examination (UPSC) in 2015 and trained at the National Academy of Audit and Accounts, Shimla, with additional training at the United Nations, New York, and participation in the Indo-Kuwait Bilateral Seminar.

He oversees audit functions across 15 key economic sector departments in Telangana, including Finance, Energy, Industries, IT, Agriculture, and Civil Supplies. Previously, he was Deputy Accountant General (Audit) in Tripura (2018–2021).

Dr. Sanjay Kamineni holds an MBBS from Osmania Medical College, Hyderabad, and hails from Karimnagar, Telangana. He is married to Dr. Likhita Reddy Thota, M.Ch. (Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery).

Outside his professional commitments, he is passionate about traveling, running, and playing tennis.
