Shri Abhay Anil Sonarkar is an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Services (IA&AS) belonging to the 2022 batch. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Electronics and Telecommunication from the MIT Academy of Engineering.

He joined the office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Telangana, and took charge as Deputy Accountant General (Entitlements), Telangana, on 17.10.2024. In this capacity, he was associated with the functions and responsibilities of the Entitlements Group.

With effect from 13.08.2026, Shri Abhay Anil Sonarkar has taken charge as Deputy Accountant General (Administration), Telangana. In his present assignment, he is responsible for the Administration Group and oversees matters relating to the administrative functioning of the office.

Shri Naresh Kumar M is an officer of Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) of 2017 batch. He assumed the charge of Deputy Accountant General (Accounts & VLC) in the office of Pr. Accountant General (Accounts and Entitlements), Hyderabad, Telangana on 22.07.2024.

Before joining this office, he was posted in the office of Pr. Accountant General (Audit-II), Maharashtra, Nagpur as a Deputy Accountant General (Audit Management Group-IV), in which audit clusters like Law & Judiciary, Home and Information Technology have been audited. In addition, he held administration charge from February 2023 to July 2024.

Shri Naresh holds a master's degree in business administration. He is interested in exploring new places and sports.

Shri Mahadev Omkare is an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service (IA&AS) belonging to the 2020 batch. He is presently serving as Deputy Accountant General in the Entitlements Group in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Telangana.

Prior to his present assignment, Shri Mahadev Omkare served as Deputy Director (Cons.) in the Office of the Principal Director of Audit, Railway, Guwahati, where he was associated with audit functions relating to construction activities of New Line projects in North-Eastern frontier Railways in the Indian Railways. In his capacity as Deputy Director, he was entrusted with responsibilities pertaining to the planning, supervision and conduct of audit activities under the office.

He subsequently joined the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Telangana, where he is presently serving as Deputy Accountant General in the Entitlements Group.
