Setting up of Disaster Management Committee.
In terms of Para 1 of Headquarters Circular No. 1 dated 22.09.2004, in order to face the situation arising out of any disaster like flood, earthquakes, fire etc., a Disaster Management Committee is required to be formed consisting of the following.
- Group Officer in-Charge of Admn – Chairman
- Branch Officer in-Charge of Office Management – Member
- Secretary to DGA/PDA – Member
- Welfare Assistant – Member
In this regard, it is mentioned that Office accommodations are being provided by the Railway Administration, both in HQ/MLG & Divns. Maintenance and upkeep of the buildings are being done by the Railways.
However, in compliance to Headquarters instructions, the following Disaster Management Committee is constituted -
- Shri Uttam Chanda, DD(Admn.) – Chairman
- Smt. Marina Simte, SAuO(Admn.) – Member
- Shri Manash Bhattacharjee, Secretary to DGA– Member
- Shri Imtaz Hussain, WA – Member
In this connection, Half-yearly Meeting of the Disaster Management Committee held in the chamber of the Dy. Director (Admn), O/o the Director General of Audit, N. F. Railway, Maligao on 27.01.2023 and had also drawn a Minutes in the Meeting on 27.01.2023.
