Brief functioning of Audit Advisory Board
Audit Advisory Board in Central audit offices was constituted to enhance the effectiveness of audit by providing a forum for professional discussion between senior management of field offices and knowledgeable and experienced professionals from varied fields(External Members).
The Audit Advisory Board Provides suggestions on matters relating to audit, including coverage, scope and prioritization. It also gives its suggestions on audit approaches and techniques within the framework of the Constitution and statutory mandate of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India.
A new board has been constituted to conduct the ninth meeting of the Audit Advisory Board.
