Ms Debolina Thakur, IAAS Officer from 1998 batch has taken over the charge as Director General of Audit (Central), Kolkata with effect from 22 August , 2022. Ms Thakur has a vast experience in diverse field of Audit and Accounts for more than 22 years. Ms Thakur holds prestigious degrees of M.A and M.Phil from the esteemed Delhi School of Economics.

Prior to her current assignment as Director General of Audit(Central), Kolkata, she has progressed through senior management roles in various work centres including an overseas posting as the Director of External Audit, Rome and several other key positions in significant assignments of national importance in the Headquarters.
