The office of the Director General of Audit (Central), Kolkata is a field office of Indian Audit and Accounts Department which is responsible for auditing Central Government Organizations in the West Bengal, Para military forces deployed in the North-Eastern States of India and also Audit of Union Territory of Andaman and Nicobar Island. The office has a Branch Office at Port Blair (A&NI) and Guwahati (Assam) besides the field audit parties for this task. The kind of Audit conducted in the office include:
