Sh. Navneet Gupta is an officer of Indian Audit & Accounts Service and belongs to the 1997 batch. He assumed the charge of Principal Accountant General (A&E), Haryana w.e.f. 19.09.2023. He is the First Appellate Authority of this office under Right to Information Act, 2005.

Before joining this office, he was posted as Pr. Accountant General (Audit), Haryana.

He has over 25 years of experience in the field of Finance, Public Sector Audit and Human Resource management. He has served as Joint Secretary in the Department of Telecommunications, Government of India and has been the Government nominee Director on the Board of Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) and Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (MTNL). He was also posted as Director of Audit at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He has audited international organisations like UNJSPF, WHO etc.
