Date of commencement of pension

Subject to entitlement under these rules, pension shall become

payable from the day following the day of retirement, and Family pension, in case of death while in service, shall become payable after the cessation of compassionate financial assistance whereas in case of death of a pensioner, it shall become payable from the day following the day of death of the pensioner.

Authorization of pension/family pension

The Principal Accountant General (Accounts & Entitlement), Haryana shall communicate the authorization of pension/family pension to the:-

District Treasury Officer in whose jurisdiction the payment of pension/family pension is to be made;

Pension sanctioning authority

Pensioner or family pensioner, as the case may be.

In the case of a pension such authorization shall be a pension payment order in Form Pen-16; and in the case of family pension the  same will be a family pension payment order in Form Pen-17.
