(B) Guidelines

Eligibility:

  1. All Government employees who entered in Government Service before 1st January, 2006 and are working on regular basis;
  2. To whom the benefit of past service towards pension has been allowed on their subsequent appointment by direct recruitment or otherwise on or after 1st January,2006; and
  3. Any other category of Government employee to whom the competent authority may by general or special order, direct that these rules shall apply to them.
  1. Account Opening:
  • Eligible subscribers need to submit an application in Form PF-01 for GPF account opening.
  • Along with the application, a nomination in Form PF-02in triplicate must be submitted to the Head of Department.
  • The HOD shall forward the forms in duplicate to the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Haryana.
  • Both forms should be duly attested by the Drawing and Disbursing Officer.

  1. Accessing Account Information:
  • E-statements of the GPF Account can be downloaded using a PIN/Password provided to the subscriber. Each subscriber shall satisfy himself as to the correctness of the annual statement and the errors, if any, shall be brought to the notice of this office and also to his Head of Office within three months.
  1. Advance and Withdrawals:
  • Subscribers can take refundable advances, non-refundable advances, or withdrawals from the GPF Account.
  • Refundable advances shall be recovered in a minimum of 12 instalments and a maximum of 36 instalments.
  • The advance should be fully recovered six months prior to the date of retirement of the subscriber.
  • The subscriber shall utilize the advance within one month and submit a utilization certificate accordingly.
  1. Final payment:
  • Final payment cases, except death cases, shall be submitted online in Form PF-09, duly digitally signed by the HOD/DDO to the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Haryana.
  • In death cases, the final GPF payment case shall be submitted online in Form PF-10, duly digitally signed by the HOD/DDO.
  • In death cases, in the absence of a nomination, a list of family members duly attested by the HOD/DDO shall be submitted for final payment.
