INTRODUCTION
Finance & Communication Audit Office, Branch Nagpur is one of the 14 branches of O/o The Principal Director of Audit, Finance & Communication, Delhi. The Branch office is headed by Director/ Dy. Director of Audit with additional charge of Branch Audit office, Bhopal. This office performs Compliance audit, Performance Audit, Thematic Audit, certification Audit and Concurrent Audit of DoP, DoT, BSNL and Meity units under its jurisdiction. The branch office was earlier known as DAGPT office. O/o The Director of Accounts (Postal), Nagpur is also situated in our premises which is a heritage building. However, maintenance of entire premises comes under O/o The Director of Accounts (Postal).
This office had the honour of being associated with many steller names, one luminary being the Nobel Laureate, Dr. C.V. Raman, who worked here as the Deputy Accountant General.
The Antique and historical chest is kept at the branch office, which was manufactured in London supplied by United Kingdom before Independence of India. It weights approx. 2000 kg.

He holds the responsibility of supervising work of administration of branch audit office, Finance & Communication Audit Office, Nagpur since 3rd February 2025 and additional charge of BAO Bhopal. He has worked in the office of O/o DG (F&C) Delhi and F&C Br. Ahmedabad As Dy. Director and As Director in Ahmedabad F&C Br. Ahmedabad.
