INTRODUCTION
The Post and Telecommunication Audit Office, Cuttack was formed in bifurcation from Postal Accounts Office in February 1970. This office is functioning at Ground floor, Gallery No. -03, Barabati Stadium, Cuttack, Odisha-753001 in rented accommodation provided by Odisha Olympic Association. The rent is being paid by the Department of Post. The office has been re-designated as Finance & Communication Audit Office w.e.f. 01.04.2020. Ms. M. Uma, IA&AS, Deputy Director, Finance & communication Audit Office, Hyderabad held additional charge of this office w.e.f. 25.07.2024. The Senior Audit Officer in charge is functioning as DDO of this office and all bills are drawn from Cuttack GPO.

Ms. M. Uma is an Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA&AS) officer of the 2020 batch. She supervises the work of Branch Office of PDA, F&C at Hyderabad. She has worked as Deputy Accountant General (Administration and AMG-II) in O/o PAG (Audit), Chhattisgarh, Raipur. The Officer has joined BAO Hyderabad as Dy. Director w.e.f. 25.07.2024. She also holds the additional charge of BAO Cuttack w.e.f. 25.07.2024.
