INTRODUCTION

Branch Audit Office Ahmedabad was initially functioning as a Resident Audit Office under Joint Director of Audit, Nagpur and was upgraded to a full-fledged Branch Audit Office with independent cadres in the year 1981. Finance and Communication Audit Office, Ahmedabad is housed at 3^rd Floor of Railwaypura Telephone Exchange Building, Kalupur, Ahmedabad w.e.f 03.05.2006 covering an area of 4961 sq. ft.Shri D D Waghela, Deputy Director is holding charge of this office w.e.f 08/02/2021.

Shri Dhanendra D. Waghela is an officer of Indian Audit & Accounts Services of the Indian Audit & Accounts Department under the C&AG of India. He had done his B.Com from Gujarat University in 1995. Currently, he is posted as Deputy Director in the O/o PDA, Finance and Communication, Branch-Ahmedabad and is also holding the additional charge  of Finance and Communication, Branch-Jaipur. Prior to this, he has served Dy. Director (AMG-I) in O/o PDA, F&C, Delhi.
