INTRODUCTION

Finance and Communication Audit Office, Chennai, conducts audit of the Department of Posts (DoP), DOT, BSNL, two CPSU telecom units (Telecommunications Consultants India Ltd (TCIL) and Tamil Nadu Telecommunications Ltd (TTL) and MEITY (Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology) units (National Informatics Centre (NIC), Centre for Development of Advance Computing (C-DAC), Electronics Test and Development Centre (ETDC), Society for Applied Microwave Electronics Engineering and Research (SAMEER) and Centre for Reliability (CFR) and NIELIT (National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology).

Smt. Swaroopa. M is an Indian Audit & Accounts Service (IA &AS) Officer of 2021 batch. She took over the charge of Deputy Director in the O/o Principal Director of Audit, Finance & Communication, Branch Office at Chennai w.e.f. 01.05.2023. She is a Bachelor of Commerce (Graduate) from the Geetham University & Diploma in Architecture Assistantship from State Board of Technical Education, Andhra Pradesh. She started her career in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Telangana (Composite State of Andhra Pradesh) in the year 1989 and served in various groups like Administration, Pensions, Legal, Accounts groups in different capacities.
