Audit Management Group (AMG) - II Group deals with the local audit of Madhya Pradesh State Government Social Sector Departments i.e. Public Health and Family Welfare Department, Women and Child Development Department, Social Justice and Disabled Welfare Department, Tribal Welfare Department, Schedule Caste Welfare Department, Denotified, Nomadic and Semi-Nomadic Tribes Welfare Department, Backward Classes & Minorities Welfare Department, Sainik Welfare, Hill/special Area Councils, AYUSH Department, Medical Education and Bhopal Gas Tragedy Relief and Rehabilitation. 16 field audit parties are sanctioned for the Group and Headquarters’ work is distributed between two sections {viz AMG-II headquarters and AMG-II Report}.
AMG-II headquarters is the Controlling section which deals with preparation of Annual Audit Plan, Tour Programmes, Maintenance of Cycle Index Register and other miscellaneous work.
AMG-II Report is responsible for issuance of IRs and Departmental Appreciation Notes, pursuance and settlement of outstanding paras of Inspection Reports. It also deals with the Important Paras marked for further scrutiny to prepare Factual Statements, thereafter Draft Paragraphs are prepared and processed for their possible inclusion in the Audit Report. The initial work and scrutiny of guidelines of all the topics related to Focus Area Based Activity (FABA) of AMG-II Group are also dealt with.
