Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP) and National Hydrology Project (NHP) projects are being implemented by DVC in its three dams located in Jharkhand at Maithon, Panchet and Konar

In respect of both the above externally aided projects implemented by DVC, this office certifies the Statement of Expenditure (SOE)/Project Financial Statement (PFS).

DVC

 

Dam Rehabilitation and Improvement Project (DRIP) and National Hydrology Project (NHP) projects are being implemented by DVC in its three dams located in Jharkhand at Maithon, Panchet and Tilaiya.  DRIP has been taken up for repairing and rehabilitation of dams of DVC. DRIP is an externally-aided project where 80 percent of total project cost is provided by the World Bank as loan and remaining 20% is borne by DVC.

NHP is taken up by Ministry of Water Resource, GoI. The Corporation is implementing NHP for setting up of a system for timely and reliable water resources data acquisition, storage, collation and management. NHP seeks to build capacity of the State and Central sector organizations in water resources management through the use of Information System and adoption of the technologies like remote sensing. Out of the total outlay, 50 percent would be World Bank loan to be repaid by Central Government. The remaining 50 percent would be Central Assistance from the budgetary support. The entire World Bank’s loan component and Central Assistance to the States and Central Organizations shall be passed on to them as Grants for implementing NHP.

In respect of both the above externally aided projects implemented by DVC, this office certifies the Statement of Expenditure (SOE)/Project Financial Statement (PFS).
