He did his B.Com (Hons) from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi in the year 1993 and M.Com from Chhatrapati Shahu Ji Maharaj University, Kanpur in 2004. Joined in the department as Section Officer, Commercial (Probationer) in May 1995 and worked in different offices/stations like Kolkata, Durgapur, Allahabad, Lucknow and Patna as Section Officer, Astt. Audit Officer, Audit Officer and Sr. Audit Officer. He was inducted in IA&AS (2014) in 2016 and posted as Dy. Accountant General (Pension) and subsequently Dy. Accountant General, Administration and Accounts/VLC in the O/o the Pr. Accountant General Jharkhand, Ranchi. He was transferred and posted as Dy. Accountant General (Audit) in the O/o the Accountant General (Audit), J&K, at Srinagar in May 2019. Subsequently he was posted as Dy. Accountant General (A/c/VLC) in the O/o the Pr. Accountant General (A&E), J&K, Jammu in 2020and also held charge of Dy. Accountant General (AMG-III) of the O/o the Accountant General (Audit), J&K. Presently, He is working in this office since September, 2021 as Dy./Sr. Dy Accountant General (AMG-III).
