Ms. Tanya Singh, (IA&AS) took over the charge of the Accountant General (Audit-II), UP, Lucknow w.e.f. 03.01.2022 (F/N) consequent upon promotion. She is an officer of the Indian Audit and Accounts Services of 2006 batch. She has done B.A. LLB (Honors). Before joining the post of the Accountant General (Audit-II), Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, she was posted as Director in the O/o the Director General of Audit (Mines), Kolkata. During her tenure prior to Accountant General, she has worked in various offices under the umbrella of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, such as, State Audit office in Chennai, Accounts and Entitlement offices in Chennai & Patna, Defence audit offices in Bengaluru & Patna and Commercial Audit office in Kolkata. She has done various foreign audit assignments during the period September 2018 to May 2020.
