AMG-II Introduction

Introduction

In terms of Headquarters Notification No.100/09-SMU/2020 dated 15 May 2020 & Office Order No-Pr. AG(Audit-I)/Admn.I/A4/2020-21/84 dated-17.06.2020, Headquarters letter No. 247/SR/ADAI-sectt/01-2019 dt: 23.11.2022 and office order No. Pr.AG(Au-I)/AMG-II/OAD/A/2022-23/869 dt: 01.02.2023, w.e.f 01.04.2023, the following two clusters were allocated to AMG-II/AU-I.

• Cluster 4 (Department of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj)
• Cluster 10 (Urban Development Department)

Further, the AMG-II has been entrusted with the following items of work:

• Financial Audit of
  • Accounts of ZPs and TPs under Section 19(3).
  • State PSUs under Section 19(1) and SABs under Section 19(3) falling under cluster 4 and 10
• Performance Audit for Union Report & State Report.
• Audit of accounts of Grama Panchayats under TGS Module (Sec 20(1)).
• Compliance audit of Departments under Clusters- 4 and Cluster 10.
• Finalization of Reports and attending Public Accounts Committee Meetings (State-Report).
• Conducting workshops for Karnataka State Audit & Accounts Department (KSAAD) as per TGS module.
