About Us
The objective of constituting this body at state level, by providing a forum for professional discussion between the Sr. Management and experienced professionals from varied fields have so far been in the right direction and hopefully,will continue to enlighten audit in the further days to come. Through discussions,we look forward to get valuable /topical guidance with regard to the coverage, scope and prioritization of audits with suggestion for audit approaches and technique for attending audit mandates.
The current SAAB (2019-21) has a tenure of two years.

- Ex-officio member: Shri Bibhudutta Basantia, Accountant General (General & Social Sector Audit)
The following distinguished members have been included as external members of the current Board.
(i) Ms. Subhashree Das, Presently working as Director, Institute for Social Development, Convenor of Swadhikar Forum, Convenor of Women Power Connect of Odisha State, Convenor of Forum to Engage Men, Managing Trustee, Law Letter Press Trust.
(ii) Dr.Aurobindo Behera, IAS (Retd).Presently working as independent Director in Ferro scrap Nigam limited, a PSU under the Ministry of Steel and Independent external monitor of NALCO.
(iii) Prof.(Dr.) S. N. Misra, Retd in 2012 from IDAS as Pr. CDA (Navy). Presently teaching Economics, Constitutional Law and Service Law at School of Law & Management, KIIT, Bhubaneswar.
(iv) Prof. (Dr.) Basudev Chhatoi, Former Chairman, Council of Higher Secondary Education, Odisha. Presently working as State Co-coordinator, Anwesha Concurrent Monitoring and Evaluation Cell, SC & ST Research and Training Institute (SCSTRTI) under SC&ST Development Department.
(v) CA Sugyan Kumar Sahoo, is a Fellow Chartered Accountant and has wide variety of engagements in the Banking, Project Financing, Private, Public and not-for-profit sectors.
(vi) Er. Janaki Ballava Mohapatra, Retd as Engineer-in-Chief, Department of Water Resources, Odisha.
(vii) Dr. Lala Aswini Kr. Singh,Researcher on wildlife and biodiversity for the last 40 years. His studies range mainly over crocodilians, tigers and elephants
(viii) Shri Rabi Das, Senior Journalist and Former Chief Editor of Odia Newspaper ‘Paryabekhyak’. Took active role in unearthing mining scam.
(ix) Dr.(Prof.) Samson Moharana, Former Prof & HOD of Utkal University (Commerce), Former Member of State Finance Commission. Presently Professor & Dean Birla School of Commerce.
(x) Dr. N.D. Mohanty, Former Sr. Scientist of Odisha Space Applications Centre, Working experience in Environmental Monitoring of Lakes/Reservoirs/Water Quality characteristics, Remote sensing aided study and DGPS Survey.
