Position of discussion of Audit reports by PAC and COPU

Hon’ble PAC in their meeting held on 01.06.2016 decided to transfer 215 C&AG’s Paras (175 paragraphs & 40 Reviews) relating to Audit Reports up to the year 2006-07 to the concerned departments for necessary follow up action without discussion.

Out of total 210 Paras (168 Para and 42 Reviews) featured in different Audit Reports from 2007-08 to 2016-17, 33 paras (29 Paras and 4 Reviews have been discussed completely by PAC as of January 2020. Remaining 139 paragraphs & 38 Reviews are pending for discussion in PAC.

In respect of CoPU, as of January 2020 out of 15 paras relating to this office for the period from 2007-08 to 2016-17, only 2 paras (1 Para and 1 Review) were discussed completely and 2 paras were transferred to concerned Departments by the CoPU. The remaining 10 paragraphs & 01 Review are pending for discussion.
