A person, who desires to obtain any information which comes under the purview of this organization under this Act shall make a request to the Central Public Information Officer (CPIO) in writing or through electronic means
Format of the Application Form
One can apply online or offiline.There is no specific format for Application Form. The Applicant should clearly mention his/her Name & Address for correspondence, Telephone No. (Optional) and specific information which he/she wants if practical with No. & Date etc.
Appeals and Appellate Authorities etc., If any
Appeals against the decision of Central Public Information Officer can be made before the Appellate Authority : Accountant General (Audit)
