Shri Jay Prakash Narayan Singh, belongs to the 1995 batch of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service. He assumed charge as the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Jammu & Kashmir on 17^thSeptember 2024. He also serves as the First Appellate Authority for this office under the provisions of the Right to Information Act, 2005.

Prior to this assignment, Shri J.P.N. Singh was placed in the office of the CAG of India, New Delhi, where he worked in different functional wings.
