    Ms. Shanthi Priya S, a distinguished officer from the 1996 batch of the Indian Audit and Accounts Service, currently assumed charge as the Principal Accountant General (A&E) in Vijayawada, Andhra Pradesh. Prior to this, she served as Principal Accountant General (Audit-I), Bengaluru, Karnataka. Her illustrious career includes key positions such as Director (Finance) in the Ministry of Defence and the Ministry of Rural Development (NRIDA-PMGSY) in New Delhi, Principal Director (Eastern Region), Director General (North Central Region) at the Office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. She has also contributed significantly to international assignments, including audits of the United Nations (IAEA at Vienna, Austria, WHO in Geneva, IOM in the USA and Haiti), and the Indian Embassies in Sri Lanka and the Maldives. She has undergone specialized training, including a program at the Anderson School of Management, University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and Advanced Security Management Training at Honolulu, Hawaii, USA. She has also participated in the Management Development Programme at the National University of Singapore and completed a course at the National Defence College, New Delhi. Additionally, she holds an M.Phil. degree with a specialization in Human Trafficking.
