Shri R. Naresh, IA&AS (1995 batch), assumed charge as Director General, Regional Capacity Building and Knowledge Centre (RCB&KC), Bengaluru on 12th November 2025.

He is a Post Graduate in Agriculture and has served in various capacities in the Indian Audit and Accounts Department (IA&AD), including as Deputy Accountant General(Accts.) in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E), Karnataka, Bengaluru; Director in National Academy of Audit & Accounts; Assistant Comptroller & Auditor General (Personnel) in the Office of the Comptroller & Auditor General of India; Senior Deputy Accountant General (Administration) in the Office of the Principal Accountant General (G&SSA), Karnataka; and Director in the Office of the Principal Director of Audit, London.

Prior to his present assignment, he held positions as Accountant General (Audit), Nagaland; Principal Director of Audit (South-Western Railway), Hubli; Principal Director of Audit (Central), Bengaluru; Principal Accountant General (A&E), Karnataka, Bengaluru and Director General of Audit (South-Western Railway), Hubli.
