Shri Deen Dayal Verma, IA&AS
Principal Director of Audit, Navy, New Delhi
Shri Deen Dayal Verma (IAAS-2009) assumed office as On special Duty (SG of JAG), Principal Director of Audit, Navy, New Delhi on 04.11.2024. He is primarily entrusted with the responsibility of auditing the financial records and operations of the Indian Navy and Indian Coast Guard through his office and three command (or branch) offices located at Kochi, Vishakhapatnam and Mumbai.
He is also responsible for laying of the Report of the C&AG, Union Government (Defence Services), Navy and Coast Guard before the Parliament. This report summarizes the findings of audits conducted by his office and the regional offices.
Shri Deen Dayal Verma has professional qualifications of Ph.D in Political Science and possesses a keen insight of the audit processes.
