Report No 1 of 2023 - Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Performance Audit on Implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in Punjab
Overview
In accordance with Article 151(2) of the Constitution of India, the Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Performance Audit on ‘Implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in Punjab’ - Government of Punjab, was forwarded to the State Government on 16 February 2023 for laying in the State Legislature. The Report was laid in the State Legislature on 07 March 2023.
The Report contains the results of Performance Audit on ‘Implementation of Mahatma Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme in Punjab’ for the period from April 2016 to March 2021, in terms of State’s performance in achieving the objectives of the scheme on the basis of National Rural Employment Guarantee Act 2005, Operational Guidelines, 2013 and Master Circulars issued by Government of India for respective years.
