The Office
Ms. Aman Deep Chatha is a 1992 batch IA&AS Officer, presently posted as Principal Accountant General (Audit), Delhi. The Officer took charge of this office on 18th October, 2022. She has done B.Sc.(Zoology) and L.L.B from Delhi University (North Campus) and is also an holder of diploma in Urdu language. Previously, she was the Director General of Audit (Finance and Communication), Delhi. During her career in the Department, she has been Accountant General (Audit), Punjab and has had rich and vast audit experience in various offices of the IAAD handing Railways, Defence, Post & Telecom Audit at Chandigarh, Kapurthala, Jabalpur, Secunderabad and CAG’s office at New Delhi. She was on deputation to Punjab Financial Corporation for three years. Overseas she has been posted as Principal Director of Audit at Indian Audit Office, London. She has also been Director, External Audit for UN organisations, World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and International Organisation for Migration (IOM).
On a lighter vein, she has written/ published six books on poetry. Her latest book IFSHA is in triglot form in Hindi/ English/ Urdu language.
