Overview

This Report contains the results of the Performance Audit of ‘Welfare of Building and Other Construction Workers’ in Delhi covering the period 2019-20 to 2022-23.  Major audit findings include shortcomings in identification and registration of establishments engaged in construction activities and registration and renewal of construction workers; deficiencies in database of registered construction workers; inadequacies in providing welfare measures to construction workers etc.
