Overview
This Report comprises of three Chapters. Chapter-1 contains general information on functioning of State Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). Chapter-2 deals with the Performance Audit on finalisation of rate contracts and procurement of materials by Chhattisgarh Rajya Beej Evam Krishi Vikas Nigam Limited and Audit of construction activities of Chhattisgarh Police Housing Corporation Limited. Chapter-3 contains three compliance audit paragraphs on different PSUs of Chhattisgarh. The audit findings included in this Report have total money value of ` 77.79 crore covering avoidable payment of income tax, finalisation of rate contracts with ineligible bidders and with those bidders who were indulged in collusive bidding, loss on auction of surplus seeds, loss due to not having risk and cost clause in the tenders, non-recovery of penalty for delayed execution of works, award of works on single tender basis, payment of additional excise duty from its own margin, non availing of auto sweep facility on bank accounts etc.
