Introduction and Auditee units

The LGA Wing deals with the audit of departments such as Panchayat Raj, Rural Development, Municipal Administration and Urban Development, Housing, and GSWS under the provisions of the CAG’s (DPC) Act, 1971.

It also conducts audit of Urban Local Bodies (Municipal Corporations, Municipalities, and Nagar Panchayats) and Panchayat Raj Institutions (Zilla Praja Parishads, Mandal Praja Parishads, and Gram Panchayats) under the Technical Guidance and Support (TGS) arrangement, in accordance with G.O. Ms. No. 613, Finance (Admn.II) Department, dated 24.08.2004.
