Overview
This Report relates to matters arising from Performance Audit of selected programmes and activities and Compliance Audit of Economic Sector Departments of Government of Andhra Pradesh. The Report contains three Chapters.
Chapter-I: Introduction: contains the overview of Economic Sector of the State, planning and conduct of audit and follow-up on Audit Reports.
Chapter-II: Performance Audit: contains the findings of two Performance Audits viz (i) Polavaram Irrigation Project and (ii) Development of Information Technology and Communication Infrastructure by the Information, Technology, Electronics and Communications Department.
Chapter-III: Compliance Audit: contains the findings arising from Detailed Compliance Audits on (i) Implementation of Biological Diversity Act, 2002 by Andhra Pradesh State Biodiversity Board, (ii) Implementation of Andhra Pradesh Single Desk Policy 2015 in Industries & Commerce Department and (iii) Implementation of Irrigation schemes under Accelerated Irrigation Benefits Programme and three other Compliance Audit Paragraphs.
