Shri K.O Manjunatha, IAAS

Principal Director

Shri K.O Manjunatha assumed charge as Principal Director, Regional Capacity Building and Knowledge Institute, Chennai on 1^st January 2024.  Shri Manjunatha belongs to the 2008 batch of Indian Audit and Accounts Service.  He holds a degree in science.

Prior to this, he has held charges in various IAAD offices and has vast experience in Accounts, Entitlements, Audit of Departments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies of State and Central Governments and Certification audit of World Bank aided projects.  He has served as Assistant Director / Deputy Accountant General / Director / Senior Deputy Accountant General in the following offices-

• O/o the PDCA & MAB, Bengaluru (March 2010 to April 2010)
• O/o the AG(Receipt & Commercial Audit), Uttar Pradesh(April 2010 to August 2012)
• O/o the PAG(A&E), Karnataka(August 2012 to November 2017)
• O/o the PAG(A&E), Telangana(November 2017 to February 2019)
• O/o the PAG(Audit), Telangana(February 2019 to July 2020) and
• O/o the DGA(F&C), Delhi branch at Bengaluru (August 2020 to December 2023). 

His international assignments include Compliance & Financial Audit of UN Mission in Kosovo (August/September 2017), Performance Audit on Project Management of UNFAO in Rome (January/February 2021) and Audit of Embassies/Posts at Riyadh & Jeddah (Saudi Arabia) and Doha (Qatar) (November/December 2022).  He has attended the international training on Management Development Program at the University of California, Berkely (December 2019).
