The Branch Office at Hajipur under the Principal Director of Audit, Railway ,Kolkata, exercises audit jurisdiction over the administrative units and establishments of East Central Railway. The Branch Office is situated within the General Manager’s Office Complex at Hajipur and oversees audit activities across five railway divisions, namely Danapur (DNR), Dhanbad (DHN), Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay (DDU), Samastipur (SPJ), and Sonpur (SEE).
There is a Wheel Production Plant at Bela which is audited by the Audit team under Branch Office Hajipur.
In addition, the Construction Wing functioning under East Central Railway and located at Mahendrughat, Patna, also falls under the audit jurisdiction of the Branch Office at Hajipur.
