Shri Abdul Rauf is an Officer of 1996 batch He was holding additional charge of the Principal Director of Audit, Northeast Frontier Railway, Guwahati in addition to his regular charge of Accountant General (A&E) Assam, Guwahati from 07-November-2019 to 10-August-2020. He has been promoted in the Senior Administrative Grade of IA&AS on 13-July-2012 as Principal Director, RTI Mumbai. He has been transferred and posted as Accountant General (A&E) Assam, Guwahati on 17-October-2016.
During his long career spanning more than 22 years, Shri Rauf has served in Gwalior, Kolkata, Srinagar, Bhopal, Bhubaneswar, Raipur and Mumbai before being transferred to Guwahati. Shri Abdul Rauf also has vast experience in UN Audit having been involved in 2011, 2015 and 2016 for WFP programmes at Sudan, Cote d’Ivoire, Rome, Brazil, and UNPKO at Minustah.
