Shri Vijay Kothari is an Indian Audit & Accounts Services (IA&AS) officer of 2002 batch. He has done MBA and has also done CS & CIA. He has held various assignments in Indian Audit & Accounts Department (IA&AD). At present, he is holding the charge of Director General of Audit (Financial Services), Mumbai since 1st April 2026. Prior to this, he has worked as Principal Director of Audit in Defence Services, Pune. He has also worked Accountant General, Office of the Accountant General (Audit-II), Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In Addition to this, he has also worked on deputation in Government of India (Department of Commerce) and Government of Gujarat (Finance Department).
