West Bengal

Overview

This Report on audit of Urban Local Bodies (ULBs), under the West Bengal Municipal Act, 1993; Kolkata Municipal Corporation Act, 1980; Howrah Municipal Corporation Act, 1980 and West Bengal Municipal Corporation Act, 2006, has been prepared for submission to the Government of West Bengal.

The Report, covering the period 2015-16 to 2020-21, contains the results of Performance Audit of the ‘Effiacy of Implementation of the 74th Constitutional Amendment Act’ in West Bengal.

The Audit has been conducted in conformity with the Auditing Standards issued by the Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
