Overview

The Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India on Performance Audit of Select District Hospitals in Manipur for the year ended 31 March 2019 (2018-19) Government of Manipur (Report No. 1 of 2021) has been prepared for submission to the Governor under Article 151 of the Constitution of India. This Report contains six Chapters:

Chapter I deals with the Introduction and Audit Framework part of the Report.

Chapter II deals with Financial Resources- fund allocation and utilisation of State budget which includes funds from NEC and Grants-in-Aid from GoI under National Health Mission (NHM).

Chapter III deals with management of essential resources- manpower resources, physical infrastructure, equipment and drug management.

Chapter IV deals with Audit observation on delivery of healthcare services.

Chapter V deals with support services of the District Hospitals like drug storage, sterilisation, hygiene, waste management, infection control, ambulance services, power backup/UPS, etc.

Chapter VI of the Report deals with audit observation on Maternal & Child Healthcare, Cancer and HIV/AIDS care.
