The office of Director General of Audit, Defence Services, Pune conducts the audit of units and formations of the Army, MES, DAD, DRDO labs, Defence Estates units, Quality Assurance, CSD located in the states of Maharashtra, Telangana, Goa, Gujarat and Belgaum in Karnataka. The Branch Office at Chennai which is headed by a Group Officer (Dy. Director) is responsible for audit of Defence units located in Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Kerala and Karnataka.
