Shri Sanjay Kumar is a 2002 IA&AS Officer . He started his career as Director O/o PD of Commercial audit & Ex Officio member Audit Board Ranchi. He served as Under secretary in Ministry of External Affairs from Nov 2010 to Nov 2013. He was then posted as Sr Dy Accountant General (Economic Sector) O/o PAG(A) Delhi. He then served as Director in O/o PDA Washington from 2016-2018 and was afterwards posted as Principal Director of Audit, SW Railways, Hubli. He joined as Pr Director of Audit (Central) Lucknow on 24.06.2022. In between he has also served as Principal ICISA Noida which is SAI India’s premier training institute engaged in capacity building of auditors across the globe, primarily in areas related to IS Audit and Data Analytics. He has also been involved in UN Audits at USA, Afghanistan, Kuwait, Denmark, Thailand and has visted more than 20 countries as representative of Supreme Audit Institution of India (SAI).
