Sri Ranendu Sarkar, IA&AS (2009 batch) assumed charge as Senior Deputy Accountant General (Administration and AMG-I) in this Office on 18.08.2022. He has completed his Honour’s degree in Accountancy from Goenka College of Commerce & Business Administration, Kolkata. He has vast work experience in the fields of both Commercial Audit and Civil Audit. Before joining this department, he had completed three years’ articleship for appearing in Chartered Accountant Exam under the Institute of Chartered Accounts of India. Prior to joining this office, he had performed as Deputy Accountant General (G&SS-I & Admin.) in the office of the Pr. Accountant General (G&SSA), West Bengal during the period 2016-2018. He also held the charge of Sr. Deputy Accountant General (Works Accounts) in the office of Pr. AG (A&E), Odisha at Branch office Puri from 2018-2022. He has handled various foreign assignments like Compliance & Financial Audit of World Health Organisation (WHO) Country Office (Philippines) and WHO Western Pacific Regional Office. Further, he also performed as an Expenditure Observer in State Assembly Election for the state of Madhya Pradesh Jharkhand and Uttar Pradesh.

Shri Avnindra Kumar Rai, belongs to the 2018 batch of the Indian Audit and Accounts Services Cadre of IA & AD. He is presently holding the independent charge of the post of Deputy Accountant General (AMG-II) along with an additional charge of (AMG-III) Non-LAD. Shri Rai hails from Jaunpur, Uttar Pradesh.
