Audit Management Group III
The Audit Management Group-III (AMG-III) deals with the audit of Public Works Departments, Panchayati Raj Institutions (PRIs), various Civil Departments, Autonomous Bodies/Corporations/Companies under section 13, 14, 19 & 20 of the Comptroller & Auditor General's (DPC) Act, 1971.
Besides Audit, this Group also certifies the annual accounts of Autonomous Bodies/Corporations/Companies under section 19 & 20 of the Act ibid. However, certification of PRIs units is not required as per Regulations on Audit and Accounts 2020 of Comptroller and Auditor General of India.
In addition, the Group conducts the Central Audit of Monthly Accounts of Divisions of Public Works Department (Buildings and Roads), Public Health Engineering Department and Irrigation & Water Resources Department of Haryana State received through the office of the Principal Accountant General (A&E) Haryana.
