Shri Omnkar is an IA&AS Officer of 2017 batch. He is an Electrical Engineering Graduate from National Institute of Technology (NIT), Kurukshetra. He had been trained at Shimla and Dehradun. He was previously posted as Deputy A.G., looking after the audits of Public Sector Undertakings of Govt. of Rajasthan, specifically related to Energy, Mining and industries sector from 2019-2023. He has been posted in this office since 13 September 2023 and currently supervises the audit of Local Bodies (PRIs) and major departments being mainly Water Resources Department (WRD), Minor Water Resources Department (MWRD), Cooperative, Agriculture, Food & Consumer Affairs etc. He also looks after the preparation of SFAR (State Finances Audit Report), and the Certification Audit of World Bank assisted Projects.
