Works Audit
This office having two Workshop audit units one at Hubli and another at Mysore. Hubli Workshop is responsible for maintenance and overhauling of railway carriages. Mysore workshop conducts regular overhauling of all types of coaches and also manufactures toy trains. The works are categorised under the following sections:

- Workshop and Stores
- Administration
In addition to this a production unit viz., Rail Wheel Factory situated in Yelahanka is also audited by this office. This factory manufactures Wheels and Axles and assembles wheel sets, functioning under a General Manager with other Heads of Departments.
