Duties & Responsibilities
The Administration Section is responsible for dealing with all establishment matters pertaining to submission of Budget Estimates, Control Statement and all other returns relating to establishment of the Office of the Principal Director of Audit, Railway Production Units and Metro Railway, Kolkata to the office of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India, New Delhi and such other offices to which those returns are due. Activities of Administration Section are broadly listed below.
Maintenance of Service Records.
Maintenance of Leave Accounts.
Issue and maintenance of staff office orders.
Preparation of Budget and Revised Estimates.
Preparation of Statement showing SS & PIP.
Preparation and payment of bills of all officers and staff such as Pay and Allowances, TA, Medical Reimbursement, Honorarium etc.
Control over expenditure.
Issue of Passes and Privilege Ticket Orders.
