Introduction
The Administration wing under the Principal Director of Audit (Shipping), Mumbai is headed by Mrs. Monali Ashok Phadtare (Administration). Director (Admin) is assisted by Senior Audit Officer (Administration), who is also the Branch Officer for Administration, Establishment, Information Technology, Training. The Senior Audit Officer (Admin) is also the Drawing and Disbursing Officer for the Office and is non cheque drawing DDO. The SAO (Admin) is assisted by Two AAO’s and 1 supervisor, one AAO handling the Bills and Entitlement, other AAO handling the Information Technology &Training and Supervisor handling Establishment matters.
The Director (Admin) is also the Public Information Officer under RTI- ACT 2005 for the office. Director (Admin) is also the Cadre Controlling Officer for all Group B (Non Gazetted) and Group C Staff for this office and Office of the Director General of Commercial Audit, Mumbai.
