Overview of Report No. 03 of 2025-Performance Audit on Effectiveness of measures taken by the Government of West Bengal for containing water  pollution.

This Report of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India has been prepared for submission to the Governor of the State of West Bengal under Article 151 of the Constitution of India for being laid before the Legislature of the State. The report has been prepared in accordance with the Performance Auditing Guidelines, 2014 and Regulations on Audit and Accounts, 2020 of the Comptroller and Auditor General of India. The report contains results of Performance Audit on “Effectiveness of measures taken by the Government of West Bengal for containing Water Pollution” covering the period from 2018-19 to 2022-23.
